How Long to Cook a 20 pound Turkey in the Oven?

Here is how to cook a turkey to perfection for a Thanksgiving feast that will impress your guests.

At 325°F, which is the lowest temperature recommended by the USDA,

 it will take 4 to 5 hours to cook a 20-pound turkey without stuffing and 4:14 to 5:14 hours with stuffing. 

It shouldn't be taken as a given that it will happen.

 Use a meat thermometer to check that the interior temperature is at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit, as recommended by the USDA.
